Piedmont Pathology is one of the oldest, most technically sophisticated, and respected pathology practices in the southeast United States. Established in 1967 by Dr. Guarino, Piedmont Pathology became the first subspecialty trained and board certified pathology group serving western North Carolina. Since then we have grown into a truly regional pathology network serving patients all over the Carolinas, as well as parts of the entire eastern US. All of our medical staff is board certified in Clinic.
